CFA Members enjoy these benefits:

Hometown Florist
HFA has trademarked "Hometown Florist™" which is used to help promote the local florist in advertising, marketing materials, and the Internet.

Capture Internet Orders
Through "yourhometownflorists.com" the association bids for a top position on the internet for "yourhometownflorists.com" which sends consumers to members' sites. Increases internet presence and internet orders at full price for members.

HFA Educational Programming
Educational workshops, seminars, and design shows are held throughout our area at convenient times and locations, and at the lowest possible costs.

Annual Convention
HFA has developed a reputation over the years for having one of the very best conventions in the industry--in terms of education, enjoyment, and value. If you have never been to a HFA convention, you've been missing something really special. Included are a trade show, design show, hands-on workshops, business seminars, networking and fun parties. If you've never been to our convention, you've missed something special.

Networking & Friendships
HFA members are one another's clients, customers, colleagues and friends. When they get together whether at a convention, workshop, over the phone, or via web forums, they share ideas and information. Fellow members are one of the best resources HFA members have.

Group Discounts and Opportunities
Belonging and participating in HFA has tangible benefits. Many vendors offer discounts and special pricing to HFA members. There are also events, seminars and trips that are low cost for HFA members.

Legislation
HFA works behind the scenes with local legislators. For example, in Maryland we are attempting to get a bill passed to stop deceptive phone book advertising of "florists" who are not physically located in the state. Click on legislative for more information.

Website
This website is informational describing what our association is about and what the benefits are. Also, there is a consumer's website with information about why it's better to use your local "Hometown Florist". In addition, consumers will be able to link to members' websites as well as to other floral education information.

Power in Numbers
Associations make a difference. Belonging and participating is a debt we owe to the industry that sustains us. In working together, we have strength and clout. Belonging to HFA enables members to do things that are not possible to do alone!
