Membership Categories & Applications

Retail
Retail membership shall consist of and is limited to sole proprietors, partnerships and corporations, which are engaged in selling floral items or services on the retail level. A retail florist shall be defined as any entity which maintains refrigeration and inventory of fresh cut flowers, plants & greens; employs a qualified designer; sustains a delivery vehicle or a delivery service; maintains a publicly listed business telephone; and display a business sign.

Wholesale
A wholesale supplier shall be defined as any legal entity that maintains inventory, fresh and/or non-perishable, pertinent to resale for a retail florist; sustains delivery service; maintains a business telephone; and, displays a business sign.

Grower / Manufacturer 
Grower / Manufacturer membership shall consist of and be limited to:
Growers and Manufacturers of flowers, plants, florist supplies and accessories, regardless of location; commercial growers, manufacturers and supportive industries and wire services associated with the floral industry but not direct suppliers to consumers.

Associate 
Associate membership shall consist of businesses performing services and distributing supplies and accessories to the floral industry regardless of location. Services may include but are not limited to financial/accounting; marketing/advertising; distribution of floral supplies and accessories.

Educational Institution
Educational Institution membership shall consist of Colleges, Universities and other schools that provide training for students in the floral industry. Any student or teacher may come to any program at the member price when showing a current student or teacher ID.
